Our Story
Hi there, my name is Ksenia and I am obsessed with choosing, packing and giving gifts.
My gift giving story started when I was a child. I would collect all my pocket money for school lunches to buy gifts for my mom and my little brother. I spent days trying to find a perfect gift. After creating a perfect bundle, I would spend even more time decorating it. It was always a GREAT pleasure for me to see the excitement on their faces. Since then, gift giving is my favorite activity and Christmas is my favorite holiday (so many gifts to give, right?).
But recently I discovered a new obsession - Hygge. For those who are not familiar with the term: it is a Danish concept that cannot be translated to one single word. Hygge (pronounced “hoo-gah”) is a feeling of cozy contentment and well-being through enjoying the simple things in life. If you've ever enjoyed reading a book indoors on a rainy Sunday or a cup of hot cocoa on a snow day, you've experienced hygge without even knowing it.
As a mom of two children under 3 who is surviving pandemic one sip day at a time, I needed more Hygge in my life. I filled my house with candles, flowers, succulents and pinecones, knit throws and cozy socks. I started baking more and using cell phone less. I try to live in the moment and enjoy simple things in life like the laughter of my children, homemade dinners with friends and walks in the park.
Let me share my passion with you and your loved ones. Come join me in hyggelig!
